Cynsio did not come out of a product meeting. It came from noticing how much of renting out property is really just admin.

Work a computer does better and faster than a person, and that almost everywhere still happens by hand. Cynsio does that work. Not to replace the landlord, but to give back the evenings that go into a spreadsheet.

Cijns is the old Flemish word for the recurring due paid on land and property. Whoever collected it kept a cijnsboek: who paid, when, how much.
Cynsio is that ledger, minus the handwriting.
